Lunch Conversations: Bizzaros

With the recent 10th Anniversary of the Matrix, I watched The Matrix and Matrix reloaded with Rifftrax.  With that, I had a random thought while watching Reloaded.

The twins are a Bizzaro.

  • They wear suits
  • They are violent
  • They have dreads
  • There are white
  • There are more than one of them

Lunch Conversations: Music Composition and Ajax

Over lunch we began talking about John Williams, and the lesser John Williams (but couldn’t remember his name).  This reminded me of Ajax Greater and Ajax Lesser.  Two different characters in the myth about Troy and in the Illiad.  Both Greek Warriors who fought alongside Achillies.  Both prominent warriors on the battlefield.  One a great and noble warrior who kills himself after he is proclaimed 2nd best after Achilles death (Odysseus is 1st and gets Achilles’ armor).  The other drags Cassandra from a Temple of Athena and rapes her.
